PAKISTAN INVOKES RIGHT TO SUSPEND BILATERAL PACTS, INCLUDING SIMLA AGREEMENT

Amidst rising tensions post-Pahalgam terror attack, Pakistan has invoked its right to suspend all bilateral pacts with India, including the Simla Agreement. Signed in 1972 post the Indo-Pak war, the Simla Agreement aimed to foster peaceful bilateral ties. Its recent move to hold the agreement in abeyance threatens regional stability and challenges the legitimacy of the LoC.
