SC SLAMS PHARMACY COUNCIL OF INDIA FOR ARBITRARY ACTIONS AGAINST COLLEGES

Case Name: Shree Ram College of Pharmacy vs. Pharmacy Council of India, W.P.(C) No. 24/2025 & Connected Cases

The Supreme Court strongly criticized the Pharmacy Council of India for arbitrary and non-transparent decision-making. It quashed several denial orders affecting pharmacy institutions and warned such expert bodies to uphold due process and fairness, especially when students’ futures are at stake.

RCB & SRH CAPTAINS FINED FOR SLOW OVER-RATE UNDER IPL CODE OF CONDUCT

Issue: IPL 2025 – Disciplinary Action under Article 2.22, Code of Conduct

RCB’s Rajat Patidar and SRH’s Pat Cummins were fined ₹24 lakh and ₹12 lakh respectively for slow over-rates. Other team members also faced penalties. The fines were imposed under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct, highlighting the league’s commitment to timely match conduct.
