Case Overview

Case Name- Mangala Kohli v. Union of India

The petition was filed by Dr. Mangala Kohli former Assistant Director General of Health Services (DGHS) challenging the decision of the NTA to cancel & re-conduct NEET-UG 2026. The exam was held on 3rd May 2026 but was cancelled following allegations of paper leaks and examination malpractice.

The matter came before a bench comprising Justice Surya Kant & Justice V Mohana Rao. However the bench deferred the hearing & directed that the matter be listed before a bench headed by Justice PS Narasimha who is already hearing matters related to NEET UG 2026.
