In a significant step towards accessible justice the Kerala High Court has launched the first fully online Permanent Lok Adalat services of India. The move spearheaded by the Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KELSA) was officially inaugurated on 11th April 2025 by Chief Justice Nitin M Jamdar. The initiative includes Online Hearing and e-filing provisions and will be fully functional from the 1st week of May. It sticks with the aim of the judiciary to make justice affordable and accessible especially for marginalised communities.
