SUPREME COURT TO HEAR PIL ON FREE TREATMENT FOR EWS PATIENTS IN HOSPITALS BUILT ON GOVT CONCESSIONS

Case Name: PIL on Enforcement of Free Treatment for EWS Patients v. Union of India & Ors.

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a PIL seeking monitoring of private hospitals that were allotted land or concessions by the government on the condition of providing free treatment to economically weaker section (EWS) and BPL patients.
