MAINTENANCE

  • Maintenance: Is a legal arrangement in which one spouse provides financial support to the other after a divorce or separation. This support is intended to help the lower-earning or financially dependent spouse maintain a certain standard of living that they were accustomed to during the marriage. (Section 125 of Criminal Procedure Code)
